Embodied Soul Sometimes we light up and shine, spontaneously and with a simple purity. We shine right through our suffering and struggles. We shine without having fixed anything or having made things better. And when this happens we feel connected to ourselves and the world around us. With little effort and lots of enthusiasm, even is spite of ourselves, we simply shine. And it is this energy that radiates from within that is embodied soul. So then, can we cultivate this shine? Can we learn to feel ourselves rooted and grounded within our own soul-wisdom? This is the jumping off point in our investigation of "Embodied Soul". "Embodied Soul" is an opportunity to take the critically necessary time to dance our way to the soul-wisdom that lives just below the humanity of our everyday lives. To do this we use the 5Rhythms: sinking into our flowing bodies, stretching and opening our hearts, and emptying and quieting our minds... and in this body of work, this is soul, these connected moments of fluid body, open heart and free mind. This soul is seductive, mysterious and wise. This soul-body is absolutely authentic. And with the irresistible quality of our own authenticity we find deep meaning and purpose in the lives we live. Soul and humanity, it is all a dance, an opportunity to find our deepest selves and shine.
